Assuming your technique is ok try checking your differential power-off ramp
setting. I have
found that decreasing the ramp angle provides more differential lock-up and
eases the cars
desire to swap ends. It also improves braking performance but can lead to
turn-entry
understeer if you take out too much angle.

hey guys, can someone tell me the proper technique to go through the big loop
at Watkins Glen in GPL. Everytime I go through that corner, my car would jump
sideways no matter how straight I set the car. Any kind of help would be
helpful for a GPL rookie like me...

btw i am running the demo

If you're talking about just after you come over the hump but before
the corner then I would say slow down more. It sounds to me like
you're going in too deep then braking to hard.

And that 13fps isn't helping you much either...

I could spend a lot of time trying to explain it but watching a replay of
one of the hotshoes would be worth a thousand words. Try here

Cheers Andrew.

or even better: a replay of a hotshoe and your own compared with GPL
SpyGirl - that way you can actually SEE the difference in a replay.

The best advice I can give you is: Buy the game!

That won't fix your Loop, but it will give you loads of other corners to figure
how to do properly!!!

hehehe...

And you need to enter it slowly and exit it with as much speed as possible!

Or GPL Dump.

AFAIK GPLdump does only dump graphics - does it actually merge to
replays and synchronizes them? with GPL SpyGirl you can synchronize the
cars at the start of a turn (at least for some tracks) to see the
difference in the line and what line gives the best time.

Yes, GPLDump only dumps graphics, but from within GPLDump you can run
Spygirl, very handy.

Thank you very much. The reason for asking is that at the us-pits site it says
that is is optimized for 1.1, and i assumed that it wouldn't work with 1.2 :)
