with the auto box on the car is there anyway to stop a downshift happening
after youve turned into a corner? dam thing is killing me here. would be
good to be able to shift with the paddles even when the autobox is engaged.

also, the TC, more levels than off medium and on?

cheers!

GOOD GOD MAN  - and you with Race Experience :D

Use auto upshift if you really want - but manual downshift is a must

then i lose count!

:)

maybe someone could suggest programmable gear change points on the track as
a setup option depending on braking etc. think thats how they work in real
life now.

ACutally - I think they have auto upshift with manual downshift - so it
doesnt shift down on them at a vital mid corner moment

i keep hearing the words  'programmed gear changes', not sure if they
program into the cars what gears to change into depending on position on
track and braking/accel requirements.

i know that they have buttons to go down a set number of gears when they
want to.

quite a tricky little technical problem that it seems.

give me a clutch pedal and a gated shifter anyday please :)
