Not to my knowledge.
Hope (and think) the future GP3 will support 3dfx.
Although people are still arguing on whether there will be a GP3 ...

As the 3dfx newbie on RAS, I have tested every sim I can find and ....F1RS
is the 3dfx replacement for GP2 !

I've read the interview with Crammond in PC Format.
If he lied about his plans with GP3, then he's the most cruel man in the world
:-)
WHEN it will arrive, that's another story.......

Alas no.
Check out the Grand Prix Legends demo: it makes excellent use of 3DFX
I read in this months PC Zone that Microprose are working on an update for
GP2.
They also worked secretly with the U.S. government (still don't know why)
and Papyrus so that the NROS will become the N-FIA-ROS. Nascar and Formula
1 cars will be able to race against each others on Nascar and F1 tracks.
Imagine the possibilities... F1 at Talladega, or Nascar at Silverstone !!
Also, they included in a free gift a new version of F1 Manager 2, and it
lets you now run your races with Gp2 instead of those little Micro Machines
from top-view.
There is also rumors of a secret track revealed. For those who saw the
movie FreeJack, well you need to do the same crash at the start of the
movie, but at the intersection of the track at Suzuka. You will be
transported into Geoff Crammond's private track in his Hawaii island
mansion.
This is just a primary list of bugs fixed, and beware that the download
would be around 3.4gb of space.

Tim,
MicroProse have no plans to create any addon's, patches, updates, sequels or
anything else for Grand Prix 2. Sorry.
I wouldn't believe everything you read in the magazines, most were stating
that a product called GP3 would be released in February by MicroProse and
when February came and went they changed it to Autumn. At this time there
is no new racing sim under development but when Geoff and MicroProse decide
to create a new one we will let everyone know with a press release on our
WWW site. Most also state that a program called Civilization III was to be
published in the Spring. Wrong again. No Civ3 at this time. If you want
real information, it's all on the WWW site via a press release.
Here in customer services we have had many people contact us about an
update, but GP2 is Geoff Crammond's program and he has no plans to do
anything further for this title. For this reason it was delayed 6 months to
make sure all the fixable bugs were fixed. The delay meant a lot of
magazines (again) and people on the Internet started claiming about things
such as wet weather, links to GPM2, network play etc, items we never
indicated would be in the game and when it finally came out the rumour mill
started again claiming an update would be out to "fix" these ommsions.
We know the depth of feelings about GP2. We do monitor the messages and
pass these on. Sadly people will not always believe what they are told
because they do not like the answers. Most new games we are publishing will
contain some 3d support via DirectX but no plans exist for anything on the
GP2 front.
