I bought the game.. I'm a F1 nut..

Game was OK on my PII 333 with 2Voodoo 2's in SLI

But I went for the big one..

Bought a CLAP Geforce DDR
Bought a Tyan Trinity MOBO (Apollo KX133 Pro Chipset) X4 AGP
Bought a PIII 550 CPU..

Reran the game ..

Now I have jerko vision off the grid..
Seems to correspond with the sound..
Took my Soundblaster AWE64 out

Just the same..

Any idea guys.?. TIA

Did you turn the graphics up?  For example turning smoke off helps on
the grid.  I get 22-25 fps on the grid with 6 cars drawn ahead of 22 AI
and mirrors off with a P3/550 128mb V3-2000.  It goes to 60fps with
mirrors off and I'm alone on the track.

There is a systemrating entrying in the config.ini file that I heard
setting it to 4 or 5 helps.. Haven't tried this yet.

No it's none of those type of things
I had it going OK on a lower spec system albeit around 15/6 fps in fraps
now it's unplayable off the grid 1 or 2 frames a second..

Something has gone horribly wrong somewhere..

Unreal OK
Soldier of Fortune OK
SBK2000 OK
F12000 PANTS!

I want this game running it looks ok!!
and was ok on my lower spec system???

Creative Labs Ahnillator Pro??
your AWE64 does slow things down.  I have the gold version sitting in a box
somewhere because i found out that a pci version added 6 fps on all my
games.
