No new F1 sims?

PC Gamer (American version) recently had a review of F1 2001 by EA.  They
began the review by mentioning that Infogrames(Hasbro?) and Ubi Soft are no
longer making F1 titles.
Does that mean F1RC 2 is no longer under development?
Does that mean GP4 (2.7actually) is not gonna be seen?
anyone have any more info on these titles?

Grand Prix 4 will be released Q1 2002. I don't have an actual release date
for you, but I did recently get confirmation that it was still in the
making.

Kenneth, I saw 2 new titles being released, Master RallyE and Williams
F1 something, in which you start your career with Go Karts and end up
in F1 if you do ok. Any reviews/first impressions about these games?

I DL'ed a movie from the Williams F1 game that was around a while back - don't remember where I got it ATM.  But the game looked
like complete arcade cr*p, and not very good cr*p at that. ;-)

Wouldn't it have to be shipped in 2003 to be based on the 2000 season?
Wasn't GP3 based on 98?

Be fair - GP3 Season 2000 expansion (Infogrames) was released in August
2001.  More importantly, they will need to overhaul the physics and graphics
engines in GP4 if they are to compete with EA sports.

Nah, that's not enough.  Geoff Crammond needs to stop being a lazy arse and
completely restart his game engine from scratch like Papyrus did, forgetting
about his decade-old assemblor game engine.
