GP2 has long been a staple for the F1 sim fans. F1RS by Ubisoft is getting
a lot of good press in this newsgroup. Paprus will be releasing Grand Prix
Legends sometime later this year, which should be awesome.

From various comments, it sounds as if F1 Racing Simulator from Ubisoft is
the best F1 racing sim out there hands down.  I just ordered my copy, and
have been playing the French demo non-stop.  You will probably want a video
card capable of handling 3Dfx or D3D, otherwise someone else will have to
make a suggestion because I've heard it is worthless without one.  A number
of sites have the French demo for download.

On my F1RS box, it says it requires a Direct3d compatible v/card. Ubisoft
somehow forgot to mention that the v/card must be at least a 4mb. It will
NOT work with a 2mb v/card.
