LWFF: Does your wheel have gap/slack agaisnt the pot?

Hi ..

Just wondering?

There is a slight gap/slack between the pot and the steering shaft of my
LWFF. Is this normal/apparent in other LWFFs?

This gap causes the wheel to be every so slightly wobbly ..

Thanks.

Yep.  I'd say it's not unusual.  They'd have done better to use a taper-fit
there, as the tolerances required otherwise are a bit much for the price-point.
While it IS annoying, it's pretty easy to fix.  Take a look at my how-to at:

Make sure you remove the slack on both sides of the plastic collar.  You'll
likely have some slop between the collar and both the pot and the steerer
shaft.  The wheel feels MUCH better with this taken out.
