You can press f10 to drive from above & behind the car easily enough.
It's possible to alter one of the ini files (player.ini?) to show a
different view but it'll only stay until you press f10.
Alternatively there are a few FOV (Field of View) and camera angle utils you
may want to experiment with.

F10 view is the simplest way.

  No you both loose cuz you didn't chastise the original poster.  If he
wants to drive from the outside I recomend a large kite with a VERY stout
rope.  Of course those tracks like Monza with an overpass can be tricky.

  Nope a letter carrier.  US postal...got bit Saturday...just got full
relase today(Friday) to resume carrying...I've been working/standing around
the office all week using only one hand.  BORING!!!  Still have to bandage
the sucker cuz it hasn't healed up...but it looks like infection has been
stopped..
