graphics card

I expect this subject has been hammered a fair bit but here goes:

I am thinking of upgrading my graphics card and would like any
ideas of which one to get.

I am thinking of either an Orchid righteous, Diamond Stealth 3000 3D or
a Matrox card

I play both GP2 and ICR among other games such as Quake and Flying Corps

Any help would be appreciated

The Righteous card will not work on its own. You need a regular graphics
card too. The Righteous only does any work when the game activates it -
the game must be specifically for 3dfx, Direct3D or OpenGL.

I have been using a Matrox Millenium with an Orchid Righteous together
for a while and am ecstatically happy with them. No problems at all.

In my experience Diamond cards suck big time. The drivers are flakey as
hell and the performance is not stellar (whatever their ads say). I know
of two others besides myself who have owned various Diamond cards which
have caused major headaches because of the godawful drivers. Avoid.

There are plenty of other cards on the market, so take advice from others
too.
