Graphics card Benchmark?

From what i've read in this group, getting good frame rates from a game
like NASCAR Racing requires a fast processor/mb and a fast graphics
card.  How can I find out if my graphics card isn't fast enough for the
rest of my system?

I'm asking because I want to upgrade my system to a Pentium motherboard.
Right now I have an Acer 486dx2/66 with a PCI AcerMagic s20 graphics card
(cirrus chipset.)  If the card would be the slow link in a new system,
i'll upgrade that before the motherboard; but how do I find out how 'fast'
it is?

Have you thought about doing an entire hard disk installation and
making a boot disk removing your cd rom drivers and mouse drivers and any
other unnecessary devices??

Try PCBench9.0 and 3DBench, links to downloading both can be found at
www.dfw.net/~sdw. There are also lists of results for these benchmarks.
Cirrus is not that fast in DOS, if you want the fastest DOS card, buy
an ARK2000PV-based card, it's cheap ( should be less than $100 ) and
nothing can beat it for DOS performance.
