GP2 - What's a good video card

I use the Millenium 2  4mg for GP2 and am very happy with it, but what GP2
really needs is lots of processor. It runs great on my 233mmx with the usual
exception of the first turn at most tracks. It's not  that much of a problem
considering how really great the sim is otherwise. The millenium works very
well alongside my Pure 3D. I've seen the 8 meg board at recent computer shows
for as low as $179.00.  Don

From what I have been reading on most of the GP2 sites out there, your best
move would to get a faster processor more than anything else.  I myself have a
PPro 200 which I have overclocked to 233 and also added the FastVid app. to it
as well.  The game runs pretty smoothly, but it is apparent that even with my
setup that the 333 PPro Overdrive will help out quite a bit when it gets
released.

Not quite true. I remember upgrading cards and when I did i could run
higher fps at the same graphics settings. However, trying to add more
detail, even a little, would put me back to square one. It seems the cpu
dictates how much detail you can run and the card determines what fps
you can run those settings with.
