CMR3 Demo system requirements

Hey all.. I just downloaded the CMR3 Demo and was really hoping for
something cool. Unfortunately I was hit with a "Your Video Card Does Not
Meet Minimum System Requirements" or something and the game never even
booted to the intro video or menu or anything. Just the message...

I have an ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDR card. I know it's not the best card or
anything, but this is the first time I've never even been able to run a
game. I'm used to running games at like 800x600x16 and stuff with some
details on low. "Vice City" runs great on my PC at 1024 actually, and so did
the latest Rainbow 6. Rallisport ran great too, but had to turn a few things
down. Ah well..

Just wanted to give a headsup to people that don't have a decent system to
not waste their time downloaded it as I just did.  There's no .txt or
anything that gives the actual requirements that I could find.. oh wait, I
found them on the codemasters site:

(i) Minimum Requirements
- Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP
- DirectX 9
- Pentium III or Athlon at 750Mhz
- 128Mb RAM
- Supported 32Mb Graphics Card
- DirectX 9 Compatible Sound Card
---------------------
(ii) Recommended Requirements
- Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP
- DirectX 9
- Pentium 3/4 or Athlon at 1.4Ghz
- 512Mb RAM
- Supported 64Mb Graphics Card
- DirectX 9 Compatible Sound Card

Well, I have all that..  heck I even have the recommended requirements.. but
I guess my card just isn't one of the "Supported" ones?

Anyways, when I was poking around for the .txt, I watched the intro video by
itself. Oh maaaaan... I mean, I know Colin has been known to get in a few
accidents.. but c'mon!! There's videos of cars flying down cliffs, doing
barrel rolls over jumps, driving around with no wheels, all the body panels
knocked off, no windshields, etc... no cars burnt to the ground, but still.
I found a few of the shots, like the one going down the cliff and a few
others to just be useless, and if I gave a shit about being PC, I'd probably
call them distasteful or something too. The videos seem like they were
driven by someone driving with the keyboard or something.. very hard to
watch. The game clearly isnt' about finesse, and driving a nice solid line..
if it was, they would have spent their time on putting SPLIT AXIS support in
the game, instead of all the time developing the ability for the door panels
to fly off!!

Yup, same here, unfortunatly I also had to download it to find out that
my ATI Radeon isn't supported?!  Idiots could have indicated that on
their download page, what a waste of bandwidth!  Does this game require a
DirectX 9 video card with shader support?!  It's strange because it's not
like I have a low spec machine and I can run everything else out on the
market right now with good FPS, F12K2 and GTR2002 run brilliantly at
1024x768.  Rally Challenge runs fast too.

Oh well, Doom 3 might have the power to push people to upgrade to a DX9
video card, but not CMR3!

You'd think they would want to maximize their market potential.  If this
is what the final game will be like there will be a lot of frustrated
game buyers trying to return the software back to the stores that don't
accept returns!
