Evere since I've installed the patch, I now cannot connect worth a s**t,
whereas before I had nothing but siccessful connects, no probs at all. I
have USR 33.6 Sportster Ext., if anyone else has same modem and has had
same difficulty, email me and maybe we could try a test connect to see,

I have the same modem as you except internal. Had same error, you can't
answer I know and you should try re doing the modem configurations.

I have the same problem now also. Modem connects fine, the red phone
flashes briefly and then it gives me a connection failure statement
before*** up. I have a US Robotics 28.8. Everything worked fine
before the patch. I even tried changing the init string to ATZ with no
avail.

I found that I didn't have the same number of cars and drivers as my
friend that I was trying to hook up with. I copied over all the
original cars and multi.lst files from the cd to the directory where
they belong. Hooking up is no problem now. I do expierience the car
jerking to the right and being placed in the middle of the field going
directly to race.
