Jim, "the complainers" also read every post with interest, for like
you they also want CPR to be a great sim. Unlike you they believe that
the game has numerous flaws at the moment, and these opinions need to
be considered by people thinking of buying the game. Right now if I
were to buy CPR I would be a very unhappy guy, having been duped into
buying a racing game which is really a solo hotlapper or an online
client, since you can't actually do any racing against the AI. "The
complainers" are imploring MS/TRI to fix this and make CPR the game it
should be, not simply complaining.

Cheers!

Oh, you mean, we tell them who to code efficently...???

Hi John.....I know the game has some flaws and I hope the CART Team looks
at all the comments, suggestions and complaints and then takes a look at
what would be reasonable to work into a patch or update. And yes, I can
understand that when you want something to be better you may sometimes
become a little extra vocal. Thats OK. What I meant by 'the complainers'
was in reference to the absolute ranters and ravers who over complain about
just about everything....but don't make valid suggestions for improvement.
At any rate, I hope the game evolves into a good one.

Just as I doubt you could come close to the times of Hiro Matsushita
in a CART car, so it doesn't mean you are wrong when you say he ain't
the best.

You don't need to be Senna to say that a Minardi isn't going to be on
pole at Monaco, and you don't need to be a programmer to know there
are problems with someone's code.

Cheers!

Yesterday I bought F1 Racing Simulation from UbiSoft. After several
hours of "OOOh" and "YEEEESSSS" I am convinced, they could show them
(you know who I mean) how to code efficently.... ;^)

This sim is just breathtaking. I just tried the Ghost mode for the
first time, there is no better way to improve your lap time than
being passed by your alter ego...

The rain! I just watched a race for 15 Minutes...

More later...I'm busy racing at Melbourne!

Nice sim for sure, and as soon as a few niggly-wigglies are sorted
out, we should have a very cool sim!!  More from John & I later.  =)

Cheers!
