I'd love to see someone post up an explanation of
the setup routine in general. Sort of a tutorial
would be GREAT. I'm personally lost at this point
with the setup routines. Basically I'm just doing
the wing, gears, and braking biasis.

Please, someone who know what these setting mean,
as in what effects what...please enlighten us all.

The letters "RTFM" seem to come to mind :). There's a lot of info in
there, even if the presentation might be slightly improved.

My real problem is that I'm just not consistent enough to know if
changing the number of packers or whatever actually improves things or
not :(

Hi there,
All I can say is Do read the manual!
You should perfectly get a good car setup with the help of the Performance
Analiser.
It is for everyone out here as new as it is for you and you are not the
only one who is confused
by these complexe setup routines. Just trial and error.

btw, to me it feels like I'm just playing F1GP (although I haven't played
it anymore for the last 2
years, since there were better sims) I am curious if someone who is an
avid F1GP fanatic can
get the same lap times with the old setup settings. Please inform us.

Cheers,

Harald

Well good advice if you have a manual, unfortunatley OZ and I have a
pre-release version, and the manual we got is just some xeroxed pages of the
manual, not complete. Not that I'm complaining, as soon as it's officially
out here I will buy the final version just for the manual.
