Cart PR demo no controller recognition?

by C.L.S » Mon, 17 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I just downloaded the Demo version of MS Cart PR and I can't get it to
recognize my Formula T2 wheel and peddals. Has anyone else had this
problem? N2 and ICR2 have no trouble recognizing the T2.

 Read the .txt files with the demo for step-by-step guides.

Hi,

Yeah, I had/have the same problem......If you read the readme.txt file
(with the demo), You will see a suggestion to 'remove' all controllers
from the W95 'Control Panel'......
'Game Controllers' setup......Then enter CART.....choose drop down menu
to configure and calibrate your controller!  Simple eh!!  I did all
this, CART now recognises my controller....GP1, but will not calibrate
correctly.....!  Unfortunately, CART does not have its own setup for
'controllers', but uses the MS-W95......which for me...does not work.
W95 appears not to be able to operate the brake and throttle on
independant 'axis', they seem to interact, which screws the whole thing.

I use my GP1 with GP2, ICR2 and Nascar  (W95/DOS), with no problem.  If
you find out any more inf. on configuring controllers with CART, Please
let me know;-)
