ACTLABS Force RS and F1RC Demo

Hi all,

When I attempt to drive the sim, the throttle is full open and turns left.
I've attempted to re-assign the controls but each slick on an assignment
results in "x axis -".  I've tried both split-axis and non.  The wheel is
calibrated and works fine in all other sims I own.  Is there a fix?

Cheers!

Glenn

In the brief time I checked it out this morning, I figured out that you
needed to click and hold in the space to reasign buttons or axis. It still
seemed to start at full balst, but I didn't play with it much and had to go
to work.

Exact same scenario for me Glenn. Real frustrating, eh?

I'm serious now, hold your click in the desired space and then map it by
pushing a button or turning the wheel or pushing a pedal. It worked for me,
you just have to play with it a bit.

It doesn't seem to work here.
Same problem, same wheel.

my Guillemot FF-Wheel + CH-Pedals worked fine.(W2k + SP1+ DX8a)
But then I did some re-installing. The DX8 demos + GP3 + F1CS2000 still work
fine, but F1RC demo ignores my joysticks / wheels / pedals - There must be
some bug in the game & 'NO' it's not a W2k issue.

No luck here either...

Looks like the finished project has a genuine bug in it!

Yep, it's on the high gear forum too:

The actlabs and guillemot are both not supported yet...
Crap!

Tim, from the forum you mentioned, I got the following:

After solving my problems with my Guillemot Ferrari FFB wheel, i tried to
fix it with my Avb wheel. This wheel has the same electronics as your
ActLabs. All you need to do is download the editor (
http://www.immersion.com/developer/downloads/IS342Setup.exe ) , and start it
(and leave it open) b4 running the f1rcdemo. Works great!

This actually worked for me on my ACT Labs Force RS!!!  You may want to give
it a try.

Todd
