F1 Sim steering wheel

In the December "F1 Racing" magazine on p. 142, they talk of a F1 Sim
steering wheel. I have not seen this one in U.S. stores. Has anyone had any
experience with this steering wheel? Is it sold in the U.S.? and how much
does it go for?

Thanks,
Gostal.

It's called the Nascar Pro in the U.S.  I just bought the wheel a month ago.
I've never owned a wheel before, so I can't compare it to anything else.
The springs in the accelator broke after one month.  I'm not sure if this
was a defective part or a design problem.  Other than that, I really like
the feel of the wheel.  Plus, Thrustmaster has great support, so getting
replacement parts is very easy.

It's actually a completely different wheel!! The F1 Sim is by Digital
Edge, you are thinking of the Thrustmaster Formula Pro which is indeed
the same as the US NASCAR Pro.

Sorry, I don't have the exact url to hand for info on the F1 Sim, but try
www.racecar.co.uk and look for "Interactive Racing". I don't think there
is a US distributor for the wheel but it can be obtained by mail order -
it probably works out about $250-300 + shipping.

Cheers,
Richard
