F1 Sim wheel/GP500

I'm planning on buying the F1 Sim wheel/pedal combo this week or next
and have a few questions. If you have any info on the current rev.,
best place to order, share personal experiences or just feel like
saying bollocks, please post it here. First of all I live in the USA,
I'd like to buy it here but having it shipped overseas is ok too.

Someone posted they got the F1 for 199 UK pounds. Interactive's page
still lists it for 269 so is Zye Technology Ltd selling it for 199? I
can't find an internet presence for ZYE anywhere. Well here's the
questions I have:

 1. Is there a difference between the F1 sim and the GP500?
 2. Where can I find it for 199 UK pounds?
 3. Anyone bought one from
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~mindflux/f1sim.html?
 4. Can the F1 sim now be mounted to your desk eliminating the need
for     the "plank"?
 5. Anyone know a web address or email for ZYE?

Yup, I bought one in Croydon from Electric Edge in the Whitgift Centre for
199.99.

1/     It is different from the GP500, but it' a revamped version.

2/    Evesham Micros now sell them for 199.75(inc vat) plus postage. You
can order on: 0800 6345 999

3/    Dont know!

4/    It still comes with a shaped "plank", but the whole wheel assembly is
quick release, so the plank is left under your monitor and you can place
your keyboard back on it. I think you can buy the quick release connectors
to fit onto your desk from the manufacterer and eliminate the plank. I
think it was "Peter Gagg" who mentioned this in an earlier posting.

5/    No

Hope I've been of some help.
