UBISOFT F1 SIM - Will support all wheel/pedal setups

by John Cookso » Sat, 01 Nov 1997 04:00:00

Last night I received an E-Mail from Nicholas Rioux who
is a software engineer at Ubi in the U.K.

He has confirmed everything we hoped for regarding
controller support in the final F1RS shipping product.
He even offered to test my own personal wheel/pedal
setup before the game finally ships. (What a guy !)

YES it does support any device which can be configured
in Win95. Including wheel and pedal controllers which
use any combination of Joystick A and/or Joystick B.
Furthermore, the game itself permits all racing control
functions to be customized to suit the user. There are
no restrictions on the buttons or axis assignment for
gas/brake/steering/shifting etc.

It is very clear to me that the Ubi team is very serious
about this game and I am sure it will quickly become
established as the mumber one racing simulation worldwide.

Thanks to Nicholas Rioux (Ubi U.K.) for this valuable
information.
