CH Pedals Dual or single axis?

They can be either since there is a switch(a *small* switch) in the unit to
go between single and dual axis. I have made up two seperate controllers in
the windows  Game Controller applet. One for flight sims(single axis) where
the rudder box is checked when I calibrate the joystick. The other for
driving sims where I use a custom 3 axis configure in combination with a
wheel.

Hmm what sort of stick do you have?  I have Logitech Wingman
Extreme Digital 3D (which can be USB or gameport, currently
in USB slot), and CH Pro Pedals USB.  When I enter the
Logitech Wingman configure program, the "External Rudder/Pedals"
box is greyed out and I cannot check it.  Apparently you can
check this box and your CH pedals work with your stick?
.
Could you tell me what your control panel/game controllers
Advanced list looks like?  Do you one ID for your joystick
and a second one for you pedals?  Or do they show up as
a single joystick ID when you click "Use external pedals"?
.
Perhaps the box is greyed out when using dual axis pedals,
but not single axis?
.
Thanks

I really can't comment much regarding USB version of CH pedals since I
understand they are quite different in how they interface with windows than
my standard gameport ones. I do know that CH created the USB pedals due to
problems that people were having getting gameport version to work with USB
joysticks/wheels. I use my pedals with a standard port Saitek cyborg 2000
and just checked the rudder box and windows asked the standard windows
calibration question (this for flight sims and the few single axis car sims
I have ) . Its all one controller ID for me. I've recently switched to a
Logitech wheel and pedals for car sims and no longer have the dual axis
controller configuraion for the CH pedals, Not much help for you here , I
realize . Have you checked the CH website? They usually had some good advise
there.
