I just got GPL and a new MS Sidewinder FF wheel. Is there a way to
enable the back switches (paddles?) on the wheel to shift gears? When I
configure the wheel I press the switches and nothing. I can get the
buttons on the front to work but I prefer the rear switches. I hope this
hasn't been addressed too many times on this board, any help greatly
appreciated.

In the GPL Options for the controller assign buttons 6 & 7 to Shift up &
down. You do this by selecting Shift up for example and then pressing the
desired button.

Strange, I use those buttons to switch gears.
Are you sure your profile is correct? (no keys attached to the
buttons)
