NASCAR2 Video Problems

Howdy,

I just bought a new computer, a P2 266 Micron Millenia Xru w/Fusion 3D.
It has a Diamond Stealth 200 Pro video card, along with a Monster 3D
card, and 96mb of RAM.  I installed NASCAR2 on my new machine and have
been having what appears to be video problems.  When I first installed N2
I also installed UniVBE.  When I ran N2 it would not load properly and my
computer would freeze up.  So I tried installing N2 without UniVBe.  It
loaded up fine and seemed to run ok.  But sometimes when I am racing and
I hit escape to return to the Start Race Menu N2 freaks out on me.  It's
hard to explain, but when I hit escape, the menu will appear, but also
parts of the track and***pit also appear on the menu screen along with
a vast array colors (sort of looks like an acid trip).  N2 really doesn't
lock up as I can see the cursor arrow on some parts of the screen when I
move the mouse.  If I hit escape again I can sort of tell that I jumped
to the next menu even though the first menu/track are still present.  I
tried a combination of changing the number of colors along with screen
resolutions to no avail.  I thought it might be a driver problem but I
figure I should have the latest drivers for the video cards.  I'm kind of
puzzled as to why it doesn't happen all the time.  It only happens every
one out of five or six times.  If anyone else has had this problem or
knows a fix for it I would appreciate any help.

TIA,

Tim

Whoops, that's a 2000 Pro, not 200.
