   I have never heard any music ------------ unless you want to call
that wonderful racket that the FERRARI makes "music".

  I think this clown needs to go back to the penny arcade and try to
get a gorilla doll with the "crane-jaws" before they run out!

   I suspect he was in some other video game at "DISCOVERY ZONE"
rather than being involved in GPL.

I ------- Never ----- heard any music in a racing simulator since
F1RS ------------ with their crappy loading music ------------ that isn't
representative of the country ;-)

But ---------- it's just a magazine reviewer ----------- and it's not a big
deal ---------- ya know --------- those mag reviewers are really low for all
of us (except Randy).  --------- they just have a really --------- basic
knowledge of racing simulators ------------ compared to most of us Hard-Core
Simracers on r.a.s. --------- won't change anything in the sales.

I'm not sure why they got an arcade racer to write a review of this.
It makes no sense- it would be like asking a professed Quake2 fanatic
to write a review of Chessmaster6000- of course they are going to
think it is too difficult and made only for someone who wants to
(quote, sort-of) "take weeks to get good at a game." ;-)

GPL is a sim, and I thank god they didn't put any "music" in it, or an
"arcade" setting. I wouldn't mind an option to... well, just restart a
damn race after my third failure to make the first lap. But I respect
that it isn't there. Really instills the notion that that first lap is
very tricky buisness- that is a huge part of racing.
