After i changed system I had to do all my career moves in SCGT again :(

I won the GTQ class with 3 first places, and are now challenging the GT3 class.
This is as far as i came on my old system. The question is: I read earlier
about people racing in the GT3 series with a GTQ car. I know this is possible,
but do a full modification get you competetive, or is tha AI weak ? Myself I
went for a Porsche 911, and modified it to 450 bhp even before my first race,
and spent all my money doing so.

Luckily you don't have to use money to repair damage when you crash. That would
be interesting thoug, and added more e***ment.

I don't want to use the cheats in this game, because the only thing making me
play it is to get more money and to reach the ultimate GT1 series. If I want to
just pick a car and race i rather play GPL :)

What's your tactics to get that Panoz GTR ? Apart from winning races of course.

I highly recommend buying the lone 4WD (yes, *4wd*) GT3 M3, '#33' (IIRC).  

Instantly slap the full ABS on it, and as you win money, fully outfit it
with everything else.  I beat the GT3, GT2, and GT1 series (at the
default 'medium' difficulty) with that car fairly easily, and without
doing any 'per-race' setup work.

Having 4wd is more than enough compensation for a slightly heavier,
slightly lower-powered car (in GT1) - *particularly* on the wet races.

Haven't made much headway in the 'secret' post-GT1 series, as that *will*
require I learn to drive a tricked-out GT1 car.

Has anybody else been dumped out of a career.  Is this the game telling me
I'm not good enough to play?  Or maybe it just refuses to let anybody
advance with a joystick.

The game has told me twice I need to start a new season because I'm not in
one currently .  Most recently, one screen away from the standings that had
me in fourth place.  It's mildly annoying now that I am in GTQ, it will be
much more annoying when I get further along.  Is this a bug or am I just
missing something?
