i tried to run GPL with Wine and it complained about unsupported VxD
vcpu.vxd.
i also tried to run it with WineX 2.1 without any success.
so, if anybody knows how to get it work on linux please respond.

On the Trans*** web page, someone said that they got NR2K2 to run
under WineX 2.1 in OpenGL, but that the sound was munged up. They
didn't say in what way it was munged, so I have no infor beyond that.
I was planning on installing Redhat 7.3 and WineX 2.1 this weekend to
see how well/poorly the dedicated server ran, but the hard drive I was
going to install it on refused to be formatted, so I have to go out
today and buy a new one.

ridcully (one of our gplrank admins) has been successful in
getting GPL to work under wine, even the networking part. Write
touch with you.
