YES! We NEED a Linux port of GPL. It might not have to be Papyrus who is doing
the Linux port, for example the Linux port of Civilization: Call to Power is
being done by Loki Entertainment who are specializing on porting games to
Linux. I already mailed to them about porting GPL to Linux and their reply
was that they are open to suggestions from customers...

No we don't.  What we need is a dedicated server GPL codebase that can run
on NT or Linux.  A port of GPL is not going to get us what we want, a
dedicated server codebase will.
