ICR2- some suggestions to Papyrus

ICR2 drives me crazy with frustration sometimes, yet I have to admit I
love the game. I get the same general impression from a lot of people
posting here. I've been trying to figure out what drives me nuts, and
it seems to come down to spin outs caused by  AI guys , leaving you
sitting on the dirt afterwards, waiting for an interminable time to
move again , while the entire field passes you.

Maybe this is just realistic. But if I'm sitting in the dirt spinning
my wheels, I should be hearing it! Instead, there is only the idling
of my engine. And because I don't hear anything, I continue to rev,
and sure enough- another spin! And maybe another! And the race is
basically over.

Some revision  suggestions to Papyrus (feel free, anyone, to add
more):

1)If I'm reving my engine, let me hear it, even if I happen to be
sitting still in the dirt.

2) the reverse gear has about the same acceleration as starting
forward in 6th gear!  And as far as I can tell, there is no way to
throttle it. Why not just make it so when I press "reverse",  I can
then use my "gas pedal" to rev it. Then maybe I could spin backwards
for a 180, get back in the race. At least I could feel I am doing
something other than just watching everyone pass me.  while I sit
there idling in the dirt.

3)to have any fine control at all in the races, my wheel lock is set
at between 8 and 12. This also means that to do a "K" turn in a track
like Long Beach or Sydney I have to do 5 or six forwards and
backwards.  That is a nightmare. One solution: let us pick a value for
how "non-linear" the "non-linear steering" is. I'd like to double the
value it is at now.

I'm looking forward to the patch to the bugs (over-rev light, lap
times, yellow flag pit trick, etc). I hope it comes out soon. Probably
a good idea to get a patch out before GP2 hits the stores.

Thanks for creating a great game, guys.
