Ed/Papyrus/Sierra - Suggestion for ICR2 "patch" release

by arr.. » Thu, 11 Jul 1996 04:00:00

Ed/Papyrus/Sierra,
I 've been reading all of the post about the ICR2 patch to DOS and
was wondering why are you bothering to patch it at all?  Correct me if
I'm wrong here:
   1.  The only way we can get the Win95 version is via a CD from you.
   2.  The DOS patch will upgrade our version to the same one that is
on the CD.
  3.  The DOS patch/WIN95 upgrades are intended for the people who
bought ICR2.
  4.  Everyone that bought the original IRC2 received a manual.

My suggestion,  is to say***the patch, stop wasting time on it.
We don't need the patch if we get the CD.  Just let everyone that
bought the original ICR2 mail in the FRONT of the ICR2 manual, and you
mail back the CD to those that have sent it in.  The cost would be
minimial to us and the manual covers do recycle.   Everybody that
should get the "patch" does, and everybody that was promised the WIN95
upgrade for free gets that too.

Thanks.
