DX8 Deadzone

DX8 Deadzone

I asked this a while back (and no one replied with an answer)--and now it is
more relevant because of N4.  I am using DX 7.0a and for the last few
versions of DInput I have used a utility to get rid of the ridiculous
default 5% dead zone that Microsoft imposes with DX.  Does DX 8.0 or 8.0a
retain this deadzone "feature"?  Do the existing utilities (from Logitech,
for one) work on version 8?  I will not upgrade to DX8 until I am sure I do
not have to have the 5% dead zone.

Thanks,

Marc.

I'm using DXDeadzone.exe from the Wingman site. It seems to work quite well
with DX8.

Can you tell me where on the Wingman site you found it? A site search, as
usual, turns up nothing.

Thanks

Does it work with W2K?  DXDeadzone doesn't...
