ICR2: Pit Speed Limitor Button Question

There is one button on my T2 that I don't use.  It would be nice if I
could configure this as a Pit Speed Limitor button.  I have heard some
vague things about this but don't know how 2 do it.  Someone please
explain.

This would be cool indeed.  I will check around for a hack or utility
that allows this today.  If I find anything, I'll post the address.

This is easy to do with hardware.  Of course you'll have to hack on you're
wheel.
In a nutshell, the second button is disconnected from the existing wire, a
potentiometer is then mounted on the dash.  Wire it up in series with the
existing
gas pot.  When the new pit speed limiter button is pushed, the gas is
controlled by
the pot you mounted in the dash.  You'll have to adjust the pot for
different gear ratios
and pit lane speed limits.

If you want detailed information, including a drawing, email and I'll send
it.

Dave

PS The drawing and instructions were downloaded.  Not of my work, but do
work
very well with my GP1.
