The pedals are hopeless on the bare wood floor of my room. I'm
considering screwing them down; has anyone down this with these
pedals?

Thanks in advance

Get a ***/carpet floor mat from an office supply store and attach it to
that insead.

Make sure you don't leave any exposed screw's or anything on the bottom so
the floor doesn't get scratched.

Save your floors :)

Thanks for replying Larry

Do you really think that would provide enough friction to resist me
pressing heavily on the pedals.

I don't really care about saving the floor.

I have a hardwood floor, I just use velcro with sticky back. I got the
softer of the two velcro sides stuck to my floor.. Plus, I leave the pedals
there full time anyways, so no need to remove them, but I can when I clean
etc.

If it is attached to a ***/carpet mat, and your chair is also on the mat,
and you are sitting in the chair...

Then yes, I think it would stay put :)

That or you AND the pedals will be sliding around the room, in which case we
need to discuss your driving habits :)

I posted reply from Google but it didn't show?

Anyway...

Are you facing a wall?  I've got an A4 folder sat behind my pedals that
stops them sliding towards the wall.  Hardboard cut to relevant size also
works.  Cheap, easy, wife friendly :-)
