Looks pretty good- but as we all know with EA, looks aren't everything
;)
After watching the crazy antics of the V8 series drivers on SV, if
they have a physics engine that can capture bouncing the cars over the
curbs onto two wheels, I'm sold ;).
I'm trying to remember - anyone know what else Digital Illusions (the
developer) has done?

EA V8 Challenge - what's the buzz?

Digital Illusions are the guys behind the Sweedish Touring Car 1 & 2 sims.
This engine is not bad...I don't think multi is that strong, but the
Norselanders and others up in that corner of Euroland did have an online
league going so it must have some capabilities.  Sounds were good,  AI was
inconsistant and the steering really put-off some users.  I tried the demo
and thought for getting the feeling of Super Touring, they did a good but
not Great job.
Tracks felt good but I don't know how accurate having never heard of those
tracks except for one.
I probably would have purchased it if available in the states but I don't
know how long the interest would have held.

oh and yes the cars bounced quite well as I recall, two wheels should be
no problem.  There also is a Touring car patch for SCGT with some of the
British Toca tracks available...great fun...a little too much front traction
but definately worth the price(free if you have SCGT)
