ICR2 - Chassis, engine and tire options

Do the different chassis, engine and tire choices in ICR2 *really* have
an effect on car performance? I've tried changing them and don't see much
(if any) effect on my car's performance. I know that the effects were
very dramatic in ICR1 but there don't seem to be any effects in ICR2.

If they do have an effect in ICR2 is there an article somewhere on the
Internet that explains the effects of different choices? There is an
excellent article for ICR1 that I found.

Well in indy2 for tyres the goodyears are better for qualifying and
the firestones are better for racing. This is pretty obvious i think
{although some people say there is no differance}

In the chassis department. Lola=speedways. Reynard=normal courses but
harder to drive than Penske which is easier to drive but not as quick.

Engines are pretty much evenly balanced although the honda revs
higher.
