Is This possible? Can I host a race with this setup?I mean ,i connect to
2 ISP's (using 2 modems, of course),then they'll address me 2 diferent
IPs.Can i host a race and give 2 friends one IP and other 2 friends the
second IP number?Will this work?
Another question:
Will modems like the diamond's Supra sonic 2 improve the ability to host
more than normal 3 or 4 / 56k modem?
Will multi-modem programs also make the job described above?
Rafael Medeiros
PS:I live in Rio de Janeiro and there isn't yet fast internet
connections like cable modems or adsl

This should theoretically work. There's probably a core.ini setting to allow
it. Randy?

Can you actually get two Dialup Networking connections working at once?
I've never tried it, so I don't know if it's even possible.

Assuming it is, GPL would have no problem identifying and using both
dialup connections.  But chances are it would either be very flaky, or
be on the verge of being very flaky.  Windows seems to have a difficult
enough time servicing one serial port when the CPU is very busy (and
GPL does tend to keep the CPU rather busy :-)  I shudder to think what
would happen if two serial ports were screaming for attention.

If you do try it, let us know how it works.

One of the modems is a USB one, which  i think puts less stress on the cpu
right?i'll make the test and report if it works.
Thanks for your attention,
