Is there a web site or sites where I can get some car sets for GPL.Is there a
car set from the 1978 season?

  No
  best I can think of is one group attempted to add wings(a la 1968) but
that is the
only carset I can think of..  All work with the cars has been limited to
improving the
graphics of the shapes,***pits, wheels etc.  GPL's cars are hardcoded and,
as far
as I know, can't be swapped out.
