After recent talk about some rally sims (or are they considered just "games"?)
I'd like to know what you think of the following:

Rally Trophy
Rally Masters
Colin McRae 2.0
Mobil 1 Rally Championship a.k.a. Rally 2000

How would you rank those games and why?

1 - Rally Throphy - a blast to drive, great FF effects
2 - Microsoft Rally Sport Challenge - the hillclimb's and ice racing are a
hoot - dam shame there is not a "real" drivers view to drive from
3 - Rally Championship - decent
4 - Rally Masters - gettin' to arcade-ish for my tastes

Rally Championship, for the incredible tracks alone, is more than "Decent".  Apart from
the ***y silly collision detection, it still has the edge over the others, imo. I've
fallen asleep playing some of the longer tracks.. Woken up in the cold Welsh beacons with
no idea where I am.. ;-)

Yeah, Mobil 1 (Rally C'ship).  One of the all-time greats.  I still wow
casual guests with it (by letting them drive...which is more than I could do
with GPL).

"Decent".  Apart from

I consider CMR 2.0 to be a fun diversion from simulations.  More game than
sim.

Dale.

it's the right name.  it's only on Xbox for now, though.  it'll be out
for the PC in a month or two I think.

Yes, It's the correct name and I was reffering to the PC version - I have
the " Marketing Beta" ( all three CD's worth!) - I believe the current
projected release date is sometime in November.
