Gamecards- DX7 or Generic Driver

While I wait for my PDPI card, I thought I'd ask if people using the
PDPI card are using the DX7 driver or the Generic driver, especially in
GPL. I am using the CH Automatic card at the moment, and get good
results using the generic driver. Also with my TSW2 the on screen wheel
doesn't jitter as much. During Win calibration the cross hairs are
steady, but in GPL, the onscreen wheel jitters with DX7, but is almost
steady with generic. This is with new Spectrol pots.

So what's everyone using? And yes I've seen Eric's survey:)

Hi ZZ,

I have the PDPI L4 card working together with DX7 and the Hyper
Stimulator without any problems.

It really depends what you mean. The PDPI will not work with Microsoft's
force feedback controllers. They use the MIDI lines of a soundcard gameport
to transmit force information. Other force feedback devices should work
fine, but since they are mostly USB or serial port devices, there should be
no need for a gameport at all.

The only force feedback devices I can imagine using with a PDPI would be an
old CH ForceFX stick, which uses both the gameport AND the serial port, or
perhaps a Logitech wheel on USB and a pair of analog pedals on the PDPI.
