GLP: TNT with Opengl

Hi

I am running the opengl using TNT card
as well as Voodoo 1 / glide

both at 800 x 600  and the framerates are
about 36+ outside view
and 19~20+ incar view.

seems to me there is not much difference.
What other advantages are there for opengl GPL ?
( over glide ) ?

other than it could go 1028 x 724
but the scenery isn't much to look at , anyway....:-)

Honestly none.  The main reason to use the OpenGL rasterizer is if you
don't already have a Rendition or 3dfx card and otherwise would have
to run the software rasterizer.  You could get some nice screenshots
at 1600x1200 though... =)
