I have many sims in my collection, some good ( GP 500, N3 and GPL ) and the
rest***poor ( Mgprs, Cpr, F1 2000) then of course theres Toca 2, nice
graphics smooth frame rate but unfortunately a little too arcadey and
limited in options but still a good game none the less.
Its so annoying that ( being a F1 fan first and foremost ) that the best
sims are in other Msports. I have GPL but am not a fanatic about it, it is a
great simulation for sure, but I crave for the modern day experience which I
can relate to more. My fav game is GP 500 as this game does not forgive
mistakes and the way the bikes brake is awesome, you just wanna go that
little bit deeper into the braking area each time just to see if you can
keep it upright and make a couple of tenths etc.. but you gotta keep it
smooth and fluid out of the tight slower corners if you want to maintain a
good corner speed.
Why can`t this kind of game be replicated with F1 cars ? Damn it hurts.
Check this out, F1 2000 made number 2 in the all format charts according to
PC Gamer, only being beaten by Pokemon. EA are sure good at making money but
how the hell they did it with that game is beyond me.
I beleive Geoff Crammond will deliver the goods with GP3, lets face it the
competition sucks, he will have to make one big F*** up to lose out to them,
I mean I only want One good game because if it is truly good it will
entertain me for ages.
Sorry to *** and whine but I hope there are others who feel the same way.
Snake.
