for all n2k3 offers, if that is what attracts you, i'd get a geForce.
FPS's there are much better (75+) plus the sound - plus the annimated
pit crews etc etc... why give all that up?
IF its Nascar you want, then get there with what you NEED~

Odd that people say that as I've got DX9.0 and GPL, GTR2002, Rally
trophy and everquest all run pretty well. But I get what you're
saying: I won't be happy with the results.

Yup, still have a V5 installed in one of my "work horses" at the shop,
the 2D quality is excellent, but with an upgrade to a P4 in the not too
distant future, it's days are numbered as the current crop of MoBo's
won't accept it

I got N2K2 to work with a V5, albeit slowly. I couldn't get N2K3 to work at
ALL - it kept locking up no matter what settings I tried(resolution, # of
sounds, details, etc).

You're doing better than I am, but you have a faster CPU. I have some of the
geaphics turned down as well. I think I'm getting about 50 FPS with an Athlon
1.2 and a T1-4600(I thought it was a 4600, but DXDiag shows 4800...<shrug>)
