When I run Nascar 2003 and quit to desktop my EAX is no more.
Ussualy I just Select EAX mode and normal and it comes back but no more.
Even restarted my computer and still no EAX mode.
Running Windows XP Home ED.
Any help would be appreciated

I don't remember this perfectly but I've read that if an application uses
EAX, environmental effects get disabled. Maybe this is something similar.

Try asking the same questions on Creative's own newsgroup for the Audigy, on
news.creative.com, the group's name is Products.Sound_Blaster.Audigy

I had sort of the opposite problem running under 98SE.  If I tried using 3D
sound in the game, when I quit to the desktop I was still getting 3D sound;
even for mouse clicks and such.  Plus, I got frequent lockups in the game
menus, so I just disabled 3D sound.  No problems since.
