Ok, I've noticed that the helmet color doesn't work on my version of GPL, which
I bought at Best Buy Sunday. Does it work for anyone?   Also, on the inside
cover there is a pic of some GPL car that isn't in the game.  A light/sky blue
car with two orange stripes down the front...what kind of car is this?

The helmet color only works in the 3D accelerated versions of the
game.

I believe the car in question is the Coventry with a placeholder
texture (the screenshots were taken before all of the car textures had
been completed).

Helmet color works okay on my Banshee, so Eric must be right ;-)
