stop picking on spelling and grammar errors, but I need to know what's going
on here.
Obviously Dave knows what I consider the right way to spell the opposite
of win (lose), but uses the 'wrong' way before it. Is 'loose' (which I
consider the opposite of tight) a correct spelling of 'lose' in some areas
of the world? I guess I am asking if you were taught to spell it that way,
wherever you grew up.
I am not trying to be a smartass, I am genuinely curious. I would like
to know if that which I consider to be a spelling error is merely a regional
variation.
