Starting N3 Problem...

If anyone can help me would appreciate it. When I Try to click on the "RACE"
button to go race, it through me back to the desk top in Windows 98. I am
running a Pll 450 with 128 megs RAM, Voodoo3 3000 AGP video card and Sound
Blaster Live sound card. I have good sound and video through all of the set
up screens. Just when I click on the race button it goes back to the desk
top. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Did you add anything to the game, like .car files?  I added my own car
file from N2 before I started the game for the first time.  Since
N2/99 car files do not work in N3, it kicked me out back to windows.
If you didn't add anything, make sure you have selected an entry list
before you go racing.

Do you have triple buffering enabled on your V3/glide configuration. I did
and saw some weird things happen.

I am seeing the same thing.  I found clicking on the Nascar3 entry on the
taskbar gets me back into N3 and then another try clicking on  "Go To Track"
will work.  Obviously we have found a bug.  It seems the the "race" task doesn't
always succeed to start.

I'm running Windows98, P3-450, 128mb, Thriller3d + Monster V2, TSW2
