I've been running F1RS 1.09 for several months on this configuration:

300MHz PII
64MB RAM
Orchid R3D-II (voodoo2)
Turtle Beach A3D soundcard
CH GameCard
TSW

and have been very impressed by how smooth the graphics are throughout
the race.  It seems like the framerate is above the 30fps range,
because I don't notice any choppiness.

I just installed N2 (50th anniversary edition) and its 3dfx patch last
week, and have followed the advice of several postings about setting
up the batch file, changing the executable name, etc. etc. so that the
patch will work.  I'm running the batch file under a DOS window from
Win95 instead of just rebooting into DOS and running it there, because
N2 doesn't want to recogni
