Logitech WFF spiking?

Logitech WFF spiking?

by Matt » Mon, 10 Mar 2003 03:50:42

I currently use a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel which is giving me a
few problems. It gives sudden spikes, or kicks in some sims, notably N2003.
Previously I ran updated Logitech Profiler software, but I think it's YUCK
and prefer not to use it. Are there any controller drivers/dlls that fix
this issue?

Setup:
win XP pro
Logi wingman FF wheel (USB)
ACT Labs perf. pedals (USB)
Act Labs RS Shifter (USB)

Danko!
/Matt

I had the exact same problem.
Turns out it WASN'T the wheel.

I went from a P3-733 system to a new P4-2.4Gig.
Spikes mysteriously disappeared in GPL.

Check you USB ports, maybe try a USB hub.

The most recent drivers at wingmanteam.com fixed a spiking problem I had for
years with the LWFF.
