Question to Papyrus: Will Cyrix M2 and AMD K6 work with DMA?

I am one of the many who had non-Intel CPU and couldn't run ICR2 using
Indyfast.  Now I have Pentium, but I am interested in getting M2 or K6 when
they become available.

Will those CPUs be able to run Indyfast and renddma?

Thanks in advance and please keep up the great work.

There might be a couple of issues with non-Intel Pentium "compatible"
chips. (Namely,  that they aren't 100% compatible... :-) ) (Some are
motherboard and machine related, some are due to the incompatible
chips not supporting some Pentium instructions.)

The issue with the erratic joystick behavior under DMA mode (due to
the lack of RDTSC instruction) will be addressed in Cyrix's M2 chip,
bringing them another step towards being "compatible" with the
Pentium. (according to Cyrix)

I profess to know nothing about the K6.

Glad to hear that I can use M2 for Indycar Racing II and Nascar Racing II.
Those CPU will be great!

Are you saying you are a human being just like rest of us?  How is it possible
for a human being to write the codes for those games? =8^)

Thanks.  I really appreciate it.
