Welcome to the frustration party:} If you have not changed the steering
to linear, do that now. I found that the wheel setups cannot use as much
rear bias and negetive cross-weight.
I lost about two mph when I changed to a wheel. Through many hours of
"seat time" I have gained 1 mph. Most of my setups use around 1725 &
1770
rear weight with 0 or +10 lbs of cross-weight. The shocks are stiffer
than they were with the joystick.
I am much better at the short tracks & road courses with the wheel but
there are three tracks that I just can't get the speed with the wheel:
C***te, Rockingham and Dover. On the flip-side...In the hawaii series
I'm in, there are several racers that use wheels and are running 3-4 mph
faster than me, so it can be done. I have not ask for their secrets as
I'm sure they would not tell me. If they did tell, it would most likely
be the same thing I'm going to tell you...Practice, Practice and
Practice
some more.

When calibrating the accelerator pedal, do not push it all the way down.
You may not be getting full acceleration from the pedals. Not pushing it
all the way down during calibration will allow you full acceleration
during a race.
