I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere.  (I'm probably just looking in
the wrong place......)

  It looks like a off line Hot lap competition before each real GP.  Go
to the USA or Euro EA site and dig through the F12k pages, you'll see at
least a small blurb about it.

Look at http:\\www.mobil1-motorsport.com the answers are there.

It is a competition running from 20APR - 02OCT. You have to download
the patch to enter.
